This artistic journey of mine has taken me through many studios, exhibitions, and events as I’ve welcomed the opportunity to develop and showcase my work. I’ve been blessed over the years to create alongside many talented artists. I’ve participated in prestigious events such as Art Prize of Grand Rapids, MI. While living in Nashville, I was privileged to be a monthly participant in the Germantown Art Crawl near downtown, as well as the Franklin Art Crawl in Franklin, TN. My work has been on display at The Art Show Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, TN, and the Juno Beach Art Festival in Juno Beach, in addition to interior decor centers and various other events and venues. My pieces have not only found their way into countless homes across the country, but have also attracted collectors and inspired many commissioned pieces. I’m honored to have been sought out for interviews as well, most recently for feature articles in both Shoutout Miami and 123Art Magazine's online publications
I’ve had the privilege of being a featured artist at ZES Art Studios in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. There at the Carol Moon Art Studio I continue to have the great pleasure of meeting many local residents, as well as those visiting our area throughout the year. As a devoted member of the Artists of Palm Beach County and the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, I continually look for ways to connect with my fellow creatives and contribute to the larger artistic community.
I’d have to say that this life long creative story of mine truly began with my parents. My sweet Mom had a God-given artistic ability, and she and my amazing Dad modelled a life full of gratitude for all that is beautiful in this world. Both of these elements are clearly and colorfully reflected in my work.
I believe so much of creating art is about the story. Sure, my story of how a given piece comes to be. But, it’s also about the viewer’s story, what you experience in the presence of my work is so important to me. When our stories come together, that’s what it’s all about for me.
….And so this incredible journey goes on and on…
